The Togo candy stick intrigues and disturbs me all at the same time. I like your comics Lili, certainly wouldn't mind seeing more of them in the future.

I should greatly hope that's a mask on a stick, rather than candy.

Wow, that fact that they're masks didn't even cross my mind. Well damn, haha.

Ugh, and I thought they were just fakes but to resemble true heads on sticks as trophies...creepy, the masks sound a lot better!

That's awesome Lili. I like the ballcap, it's a nice touch.

Very nice and smooth artwork Lili! And yay they are masks. Gotta give credit to the production people for fooling us with that.

Got completely distracted by so many things (vacation, kids, sprucing up the house, legendary vanq and cartographer finished for my husband, almost done Unlucky and Kurzick for mine...) so no energy for plushies or similar. Time to play with tablet!

Looking good Is there anything you can't do? I'm suspecting you of having a permanent Air of Superiority around you.

LOL. Apparently I'm incapable of keeping the extension cord behind me. Chopped it when going to trim the hedges today and tripped the breaker. I did learn my garage and my laundry room are on the same switch though! Back to drawing time I guess.

ohhhh I approve. Everything needs a touch of Cantha... now only if I had a shred of artistic talent to enter...

I've got to ask Lili - Why is shiro looking so annoyed in that comic?

Some scars are missing, and he's kind of pissed off, yelling at anyone who wants to do his makeup for him

I lack artistic talent in every way but I felt this might be an opurtinity to try something new

Still needs a lot of work - First time I've done anything this big so all comments welcome:

Work so far

Interesting way of painting
I guess you should then spend a long time with lights, it should give the scene a great atmosphere!

I wouldn't actually call it a painting style It's literally layering blocks of colour on top of each other

Cheers for the words of support guys.

I am king of the double post!

Anyway, todays progress - Taking Lili's advice I'm trying to teach myself how to do lighting - Some bit have gone better than others heh.

Although he isn't as detailed as some of the picture I quite like the plain look of the adept...

Started experimenting with the background as well.

On one hand it's slow going 'cause I'm learning everything from scratch - On the other hand I'm really enjoying it and spending far to much time working on it...heh..

I think I need to remove that small section to the left of the adepts left arm though. Makes him look like he's wearing a cardboard box under his robes :S
